Re: Sky Sports will not play

All other channels are working perfect including Sky1+Sky Sports News. I don't have the Movie Package so cannot check that, so for me its definately all Sky Sports Channels 1-4, this is either going to be a Outage (Bug) or something that is the doing of Sky themselves.

From my original question.

That is probably the reason why it does not work as I only subscribe to Sky Sports 1 and 2 for the football coverage. So for just having this option the streaming is crippled for the sky sports channels tha I do have

Re: Sky Sports will not play

Hi all,

For people having this issue, can I check whether you are subscribed to the full Sports/Movies/Premium package, or whether you are just subscribed to individual channels?

Thanks

As I am only subscribed to Sky sports 1 and 2 will I eventually be able to stream these to the PC. At the moment paying a hefty premium for these channels, just a few pound less than the full sports package, so would have thought that I would have had access to the streaming.

Very disapointed with the website and the Ipad app, just a gloryfied remote control.

Hi Jackboyo,

For Sky Movies live channels or On Demand shows, you need to have a Virgin Media TV package with Sky Movies Collection subscription. For Sky Sports live channels or On Demand shows, you need to have a Virgin Media TV package with Sky Sports Collection subscription.

See here for more details on channels.

Thanks

You have both Movies and Sports Collections, so you should be able to access them via the website
