PS4

Looks like we could be in for a long wait with the VM throttling policy in place at the minute unless they have some sort of plan now they are working together.

Re: PS4

Perhaps the non-IT peeps who have shares in VM will actually look and see that the numbers they have come up with for the throttling levels are woefully early century sizes.

People can download Blu-ray sized media from legit sources, and most AAA games now are well over 10GB in size.

Re: PS4

My Ultra Violet account can wipe out my "allowance" in about 30 minutes.  If I DL from it then its crippled.

However it seems that my 60Mbps connection is permenantly running at half power these days...

Re: PS4

I don't see how VM can offer a PS4 service without removing STM. If they don't then its just a rebadged XXL service.

Re: PS4

The issue I have with them throttling P2P and the TM policy is that they are so archaic, but then when their network isn't fit for purpose (outside London and Birmingham) even these draconian policies are not helping...

Re: PS4

Just remember That if you want to play their backward tiles of games on gaikai you going to be out of luck possibly till 2015 as it is not coming to Europe http://remusonps4.wordpress.com/2013/09/05/no-timeframe-on-sony-europes-gaikai-service/ so you still need to pay them for ps4  PSN+ to play games online
