My broadband keeps dropping off or is very slow and has been for the last 4 days. I can't even download an issues of the times ipad edition. I've rebooted the router etc numerous occasions and have several wired and wireless devices. I think its a wide area problem not the LAN. Could you look into it please. Postcode W4. Happy to provide account number. There is a 30 min+ wait for phone support.

I've run various checks on your modem and the network in your area but am unable to see anything that looks out of place. Is it possible to connect just one of your computers directly to the modem, with the wireless switched off please? If you are using a superhub then can you try putting this into Modem Mode? Do you still have the same connection problems when this has been done?
If not, the wireless settings are likely to be the cause. If you do continue to have the same issues though, that would suggest a fault that I am currently unable to detect and I would ask if you could post a traceroute and ping test to both bbc.co.uk and to The Times website please?
