How to find out when my contract ends??

Hey,

I'm moving house soon, and wanted to see when my vontract ended, since I seem to remember signing up for a 10 mointh contract, so it should be ending in a couple of weeks, however I've no idea how to without it costing me?? (by calling the premium rate number).

I want to make sure the contract doesn't automatically get renewed or anything like that.

I would have thought it might mention it on a bill or on the bills page online, but I can't see any mention of it which seems ludicrous to me.

Thanks

George

i didn't know VM did a 10 month contract.

you will need to call in to check this as it can't be done on the forum due to DPA

Re: How to find out when my contract ends??

It's a student deal.

Wouuld the contract automatically renew or....

I've already spent too much calling Virgin due to having the same conversation twice last year about moving house after the first person didn't actually do anything she said she was going to do.....

Is it free from a Virgin mobile? (unrelated contract)

Re: How to find out when my contract ends??

not sure if its free. you need to give 30 days notice once out of contract. I think student contracts are 9 months (might be wrong) you will need to call in or write. But your better calling to make sure it gets cancelled on the date you want.

you can call from anyone VM landline so if you have friend or family that will let you call it will be free

When I called 150 from a virgin mobile a couple of months ago, I wasn't charged for the call.

Well that's a shame, I assumed the contract ended when it ran out.

Looks like they'll be squeezing even more money out of me.

And thanks I'll give it a go.

Re: How to find out when my contract ends??

Hi GeorgeStorm,

Thank you for your enquiry, your contract will not automatically end once it has run out, it will continue until you ask it to be ended. Much like a mobile phone contract.

We do need 30 days notice of when you want the contact to be ended.

As mentioned by apcyberax we are unable to discuss contract matters over the forums due to Data protection issues.

But you can call us free from a Virgin landline on 150, or if you do not have a Virgin landline it is 0845 454 1111 and the team will be happy to get this sorted for you.

Thank you
