VM mail doesn't have a 'safe sender's' list as such.
Adding the Amazon address to your address book may help.
A better option would be to set up a free email account independent of your ISP, eg outlook or Gmail and change your Amazon contact address to it.

Here is a history of other reports of problems receiving messages sent from Amazon to Virgin Media accounts. The advice to change to another email address not provided by Virgin Media is sound. In the battle to reduce spam levels, Virgin Media accounts have been subject to inappropriate practices which have caused a great deal of legitimate email not to be delivered to Virgin Media accounts since August 2015.
