no longer VM customer but need my email back!

I was an old .net customer with non-fibre BB

I am aware that this was sold off some years ago, so VM would go fully fibre

I know that VM are closing accounts with this status and that you have 90 days to migrate

I never received this 90 day warning and suddenly my account is closed

I also know my account must still be active somehow in the background, as I do not get a 'bonce back' when I send an email to it, saying address does not exist

so messages must be building up on the server.

can I get these messages and fully closed the account so 'bonce backs' happen

I'm happy to pay a small fee for this

cheers

Re: no longer VM customer but need my email back!

emails have only ever been offered to active customers. if your email worked after that time it was missing during a clean up that has not been spotted. You can't pay extra to access the accounts. Within time i'm sure they will bounce back as failed

IMHO, there is little merit to the abrupt termination of such email accounts. Virgin Media would have been better off issuing a notice of  termination in, say, 28 days and, at the same time,  taken the opportunity to see if the user wished to become a customer.
