log-in problems

I can use firefox, edge, chrome browsers, on four different platforms: tower on windows xp; laptop on windows xp; notebook on windows 10, desktop on windows ten.

No matter how much mix & match I do I fail to log-in to either of my e-mail accounts, often four out of five fail

Between attempts I run Ccleaner, occasionally Malwarebytes and  a registry cleaner.

 

Grateful for suggestions!

There are loads of threads about this already. Tell us exactly what happens. Sometimes it works if you simply clear your browser cache and cookies. But the web mail platform performance is pretty ropey at the moment. The other thing to try is Ctrl F5 (refresh) and that often gets you in.

e-mail log-in

Further to my last.

Some of the responses on virgin media are:

hangs on appsuit/#!

Oxapp sign in  - 'what?@

connection error - service not available

page redirection - 'no thank you'

network busy

technical difficulties, try again later.

 

'Life gets tedious don't it'

Please post in the same thread as your original question. I've merged the posts.

The errors you are seeing are typical of the current issues that others are seeing. I'm seeing this stuff for, largely for the first time, myself.

I have raised it behind the scenes but there is no magic wand that either you or I can wave.

You will have to use the classic CtrlF5 (refresh) key combination to jog the thing to respond properly.

Hi Pal_Joey,

Really sorry about this. I've come across a few similar reports of this and am collating some examples. 

I need the following information please:

  • What is the domain of your email (@ntlworld.com, @blueyonder.co.uk, @virgin.net or @VirginMedia.com)?
  • What browser are you using and which others have you tried?

I'll then investigate this further.

My domain is ntlworld.com

I can and have used firefox (preferred), chrome, edge.

on tower and on laptop running windows XP

Another tower and notebook using windows 10

Having tried ctrl  + F5 successfully, it now takes  5 or six attempts to successfully access my e-mails using 2 email addresses
