emails sent to my ntlworld address bounced back

Hi, over the last 2 weeks several people told me that the emails they sent to my ntlworld address bounced back, can virgin media fix this please?

I've checked my inbox and all other folders, they are not full and no large size attachments were sent to me.

Have other users experienced the same?

How can I be sure that all the emails I'm supposed to receive are actually make it it all the way to my webmail inbox? this is frustrating and this problem happened several times from different senders, again yesterday.

Could Virgin Media get back to me and resolve this problem please.

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear some emails have not gotten through to you. 

Did the people who sent the mail get an error message at all? Also do you know if they've had trouble sending mail elsewhere?

I would suggest double checking on your spam folders just in case they've been mislabelled?

Hi

 

I'm getting same issues with recipients name not recognised.  Or aborted after 0 seconds.

 

This is from several people and only issues with sending to me.

Hi Guys,

 

We've been getting a large volume of people complaining that their emails sent to various NTLworld and BlueYonder email addresses are bouncing back - We've been receiving an error code of "5.2.0 (unknown mailbox-related status)" from these sends - Is there a problem with these addresses, as I have checked that we are not on any obvious blacklisting sites that may affect delivery.

Sorry you are having problems sending email to our mailboxes.

 

There may have been a few issues during the migration, is it still happening? Please bring us up to date so we may help.

 

Is some the problem related to forwarded emails, if so please read this help advice

I have also been having this problem.  I got 2 phone calls on Friday from different organisations saying that they could not email me as it keeps bouncing back, and that it was also happening a couple of weeks ago.  This really needs to be sorted out.  Thanks, Jo

Welcome to our forum, so sorry people are trying to email you and not getting through, we will try to help.

 

Do you know if they are using a forwarding service as it may be an SPF issue. Please read this statement and if it applies let us know how to proceed.

 

If not do you have any more information for us to work on such as a bounce back reason or message please?

I have about a dozen ntlworld email addresses in my amateur sports email list and they ALL bounce even with all links removed
