My email account refuses to accept my security answer then sends me to alter my pswd then refuses to after putting new pswd in and accepting it keeps telling me the account is compromised in some way. 2 months of this B******t and I am fed up with it

This is very odd. Logging into VM web mail does NOT ask for or require the entry of the answer to your security question. The same is true of every e-mail client (like Outlook or Thunderbird) that I know of. Are you talking about using My Virginmedia to do something like creating a new e-mail address or change your password?
In general issues like this reveal that there is back end issue with the VM servers that you would need to phone in about (150 or 0345 454 1111).
I do wonder at your patience. Do you want to explain in a bit more detail just what you are driving at. We might be able to help more if we knew.
