email lost settings

Suddenly I can no longer receive/send emails on my mobile phone. I have an ntlworld.com email address.Could anyone tell me what the mobile settings for this should be?

Thank you for the advice but I tried these settings and it does not work.

Any other ideas as to what may be wrong.

Incidentally, my mobile is a generic phone by Homtom.

Do you have a current VM broadband account, and can you log into webmail?

"It does not work" is not very helpful.

Does your phone report any sort of error message? Precisely what happens when you try to connect to email?

Yes I do have Virgin Broadband and I can log into my mail account via my home page  via Firefox on my Mobile but when I try to log in from my "Mail App" I receive a message that says "No Connection

That is why I wanted to check the settings that I required on my mobile for my @ntlworld.account.

As it is quicker to access mail through the "Mail App" than going into Firefox all the time this has been my preferred method of accessing my mail account.

It only stopped working a few days ago.

Suggest you go into your phone's settings, delete the mail account details, reboot the phone, and then set it up again as a new account using the approved VM settings.
