email blocked

My email account is frequently locked 'due to spam'. When the 'spam' address is communicated to me, it is always my daughters email address. I know this is a safe contact. How can i stop getting locked. 

Also my wife shares the account with her own email address. Every time it gets locked we cannot unlock it on line for some reason even though we follow the instructions to the letter. We always have to ring up to get it unlocked. Very annoying.

Welcome to the forums, I'm sorry to see you have been having trouble with your account being locked due to issues with Spam. 


Is the account that your daughter has connected to your Virgin Media account? 


Take a look at What do I do if I think my email account has been accessed by someone else?


It would also help to let me know if you have followed the following instructions:


  • Run a malware check on all devices used to access emails. 
  • Check for unrecognised forwarding and filtering in Webmail. 
  • Check for unrecognised forwarding and filtering in Client mail.
  • Change the security question as well as the password to the account.
