email activation

hi everyone.

i created my new email address, a email has been sent to confirm my username, trouble is i cant access my email to activate it. what is virgin tech support number when calling from a mobile phone. thanks....phil.

If it's sent an email to confirm a username, you've not created a new email address, but have tried to change the username of an existing My Virgin Media account to an email address that already exists that you have access to e.g. Gmail or Outlook.com

You can't rename the Virgin Media email address for a mailbox once it exists, you can only create a new separate email address and mailbox.

You do this via the primary My Virgin Media account and then My Profile > Manage accounts.

I'm surprised the address is still working without an active account.

However if it is, if you speak to Tech Support on 0345 454 1111 they can see if they can re-attach the blueyonder address to your current service account.

yes i already have a blueyonder email account that i have had for 12 years.

i am a returning customer and my virgin bill has been sent to my blueyonder email account.

when i go to view that bill statement it wont give me access because i was a talk talk customer.
