around late 2015, I was unable to log into my virgin.net email acct.
I was initially able to change the pw and regained access for a few weeks. the same thing shortly afterwards and I can no longer change my pw as the system does not accept the answers to its security questions. they are very basic questions that I would not get wrong.
Is it possible that virgin's systems don't recognise my answers because they may have shut down virgin.net email accounts?
virgin.net emails still work however there are caveats.
1. You must have an active Virgin Media broadband account and have linked the virgin.net email address to that. Once an account is closed the Virgin email should close 90 days after that. In reality they may last longer as an orphaned account but they are on borrowed time.
2. If you were an ADSL customer who was transferred to TalkTalk then you would have been given 12 months use of the virgin.net email address which ended in June.
Given the two caveats - my first question is Do you have Virgin cable broadband?
