cant send emails

Hi can any body help

When I try to send email (even blank ones)

the server rejects it saying that it contains spam

have tried switching off spam filters but this does not work

have also tried sending on different computers

any sugestions

I have the same problem but it only applies to Virgin addresses. All other addresses are OK

Since yesterday I can't send emails from my iPhone or MacBook. Incoming server is working fine but outgoing I get a message saying username or password is incorrect. I've changed my password just in case that helps but it didn't. All works fine on webmail. Any idea how I can get this sorted?

Unlikely to be the same issue. The issue in this thread has been fixed. Post one of the error messages you are getting.

This is the mail system at host know-smtprelay-9-imp.

I am sorry to have to inform you that your message, "test", could not be delivered to @virginmedia.com.

The remote mail system said;

 554:5.2.0 wkaz1t00a1bmqQG01kazmi Spam content found

OK it is the same error but my be for a different reason (the normal kind of error we are seeing, yesterday had a glitch in the system which is now fixed). You'll have to wait here for a VM staff member to help. In the meantime read this and prepare:

It applies to you , even though you are not a bulk sender. Nothing else you can do.

This is a Virgin Customer using a client to send through a Virgin Email server to another Virgin customer.

@romer48 Can you go into webmail and have a look at the bounce message.  What is the originating IP on the bounce message itself?

If you click the hamburger icon and then view source and look for the X-OriginatingIP: line
