I suddenly find I can still send email on my blueyonder address, but not on my orangehome address.
I can receive emails on both.
The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'test', Account: 'pop.orangehome.co.uk', Server: 'smtp.orangehome.co.uk', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
I have tried some different Ports but with no effect.

many isp block access to there smtp from other networks to help prevent abuse. it might be due to the fact your not on a orange network that you can not send though there server
It's not clear if the original poster is on a computer or smartphone, but if its the former, just changing the outgoing smtp server setting on the Orange email account to that of a Virgin Media one should aloow emails to be sent......I think.
