blueyonder.pwp

I've had a website on the blueyonder server for over ten years. Just tried to upload an update for the first time in ages only my uploader can't find it. Also tried to find site via Bing and although there are a number of direct links, I'm unable to get through to any of them. Has blueyonder gone off-line? Do I have to go through all the hassle of finding a new server?

Re: blueyonder.pwp

Virgin Media's residential website services across all domains were stopped in April 2016.

All webspace users were sent communications about it to advise that it was ceasing and to find an alternate host. At the time there was an offer for a service with GoDaddy, but the offer codes for these expired in July, so that's not now available.

yes and yes -

shut down last April .

everyone ( except you? ) was notified by letter - we were all given 6 weeks notice that personal web  space was being deleted.

There are at least 1000 posts about  this if you search

Re: blueyonder.pwp

Thanks for that. Oh well. Don't remember getting anything in post but then I get so much stuff from Virgin Media it tends to go for recycling before I can be bothered to open it.

Re: blueyonder.pwp

If I recall correctly they did a deal with GoDaddy suggesting that users could transfer their sites over.

But that deal is now over and ended.
