Why does the new Virgin email take so long to load

I have had the new virgin email for a few days now but does anyone know why it takes so long to load, it wasn't slow before.

1. Currently the login process still has to brush by Google then be redirected to the new email system - this temporary process of redirecting past Google adds delay

 

2. There is currently an open fault affecting the login process (and seemingly having knock on effects once logged in) - this is slowing things down further

 

3. On top of that, the new email system isn't as responsive as the old one was

Same problem here as well.

 

Perhaps someone from Virgin can chime in and enlighten us?

same here in fact not loading at all at the moment been like this for 2 days intermittent access

I suspect that there's far more people with the same issue that won't bother going to a forum about it.

 

I've had just about enough and I'm currently looking about for an alternative to the Virgin XL package that I currently have. 

 

I think I may go with a combination of SKY and EE.

Kallor, same here each time I log on I wonder if its going to load or just hang there, really annoying.

Same here - not only is it slow to load but the webpage frequently becomes unresponsive.

Awful new webmail had it this week and logging in is just a nightmare. It just sits on the red screen doing it crazy swirling circle. Close shut down , try a different browser and its the the same. Not impressed with the bland display of the webmail either ( when you can get in !) . My question is why is it still brushing past google ? when were supposed to be off the google platform. I give up with VM.

Add me to the list, if they supposedly know about the problem are they actually trying to resolve the issue ? It's becoming a joke trying to log in to check your mail !

I notice nobody from Virginmedia has bothered to come on and tell us more about this problem and what there doing to solve it !
