Webmail and Javascript (Blueyonder)

I am receiving emails okay on my phone and via outlook, however if I try and login to webmail, I am receiving the message

Javascript not enabled in your browser - it definately is.  I am using the correct email address and password.

Re: Webmail and Javascript (Blueyonder)

You could try specifically allowing all VM sites to run Javascript by adding           [*.]virginmedia.com       to the Content Exceptions.

See these instructions for the Chrome browser -

https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/3123708?hl=en-GB

If that doesn't work you should uninstall Chrome and re-install it from scratch as it has possibly been corrupted in some way..

Re: Webmail and Javascript (Blueyonder)

Hi gazman72,

Apologies for not reaching you sooner. If the JavaScript error is still affecting your webmail access attempts then would you please provide the following information:

  • What browsers you are receiving this error on.
  • Have you ensured that you do have JS enabled?
  • What email domain is affected (ntlworld.com, blueyonder.co.uk, virginmedia.com, virgin.net)?

I have actually escalated this issue to the email engineers so any information you can provide will be appreciated Smiley Happy
