Unable to send email on iPhone with ntlworld account

Hi, i am unable to send emails on my iphone but i am able to receive emails.

 

i have deleted the email account and re added the account and still it doesn't send, my partner has added the ntlworld account on his ipad and he is able to receive and send. All of the email settings and password is fine, i can send an email on the iPhone using my other account (hotmail) and that is fine. It is just my ntlworld account that wound send.

IOS treats SMTP servers as separate entities and while it adds both sets when first creating an account, it doesn't remove the SMTP server when deleting it.

As sending works on a separate iPad, you should find if you follow my advice in the link Graham's provided, you should be able to send again.
