Unable to log in for emails

My login for email with Outlook is being rejected and web mail login fails with "error while authenticating" although i can logon to the other VM services such as billing.

My Galaxy S6 also prompts for password displaying "Unable to sign in to account"

Started hapening today (14/2/2018) some time after about 14:10.

Is this just me or email server login error affecting everyone?

I did experience it earlier Nick but it seems to behaving itself again now.

Thanks for the update - reassuring it's just not me!

Still NBG for me though accross all platforms - Outlook 365, Webmail, Android phone and iPad.

No its not just you, there is an issue with email (again)

Email server rejected your login - ERR account is temporarily unavailable

I am in an OVER UTILISED VIRGIN MEDIA AREA - poor speeds of 0.3Mbps to 4Mbps every evening.
Contention reference "F002896495", has now become F004952644.
Ongoing since March 2014. 17 review dates... Next Review JUNE 2018

I've got the same problem. Seemed to start some time after 14:00 14/2/2018.

There is an email issue currently listed on the Service status page.

This appeared after my original post. It has a resolution time of 20:10.

17:36 - Emails have though just started download and phone email working.

Problem is not fixed for me. I am still unable to login to the POP3/SMTP mail servers. Everything was working fine until about 06:00 on 14/02/2018. As of now (14:12 on 15/02/2018) login is still failing. Virgin Media service status page does not report any problems.

Are you getting the same error-message as the OP?
