Third party Email/Domain error message

I use third party email service provider (easyspace) with domains administered by easyspace.  I use Virginmedia Broadband purely as an ISP for those emails.  For the last three days on my Windows Mail client (and Outlook Express on another computer) I've been receiving the following error message:

Account: '[account name with 3rd party email service provide]', Server: 'mail.[my domain name]', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR [LOGIN-DELAY] Logins must be at least 1 minute apart', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

Incoming POP3 mail is configured as "mail.[my domain name]

Outgoing SMTP mail is configured "smtp.blueyonder.co.uk

My email service provider says it has not changed its server configuration such that it would produce the above error report.

Any ideas?

Re: Third party Email/Domain error message

Hi Enten

I would advise calling the provider of the e mail to see if there having a problem but one thing I have seen is that you have ssl on port 110 from what I know and I could be wrong you would not use this setting on that port

Re: Third party Email/Domain error message

Thanks guys

my email host "support" has said that "yes, it's in their bailiwick" but "no, you're on your own".  Asked why it's only just shown up "well, we don't know but, hey, that's life!"  Not really very helpful.  Swept protected storage in registry and re-configured - no change.  And then, about two hours ago, the errors stopped - don't know why.
