Syncing Contacts to Phone

Hello

Is there a way to sync the contacts that are available in Virgin mail to my mobile device? I use an iPhone 4S and at the moemnt I'm using a Google mail contacts list to do the sync, using the Exchange option when creating a profile for the contacts. As Virgin is Google Mail (as far as I know), shouldn't it be possible to do the same using my Virgin account as the source?

The Google server name is m.google.com. In it's place I've tried mail.blueyonder.co.uk (I use a blueyonder address), imap4, and a few others I've found scattered around the web, but none of them work.

I saw a post from 2010 stating that this wasn't supported with Virgin yet, but we're two years on now.

To the best of my knowledge this is not a supported feature of Virgin Media webmail.

Ok, thats fine, I can carry on using Googlemail for contacts. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

try the latest email server settings onto your devices as they are the ones that use the Google servers

No, tried all of those, but none of them will allow me to setup a profile on an iPhone.
