Hi Graham

Sorry to be so thick but I don't understand where the button to click is at the top. At the bottom of my webmail page is this:

the word "standard" is not click enabled whereas the "turnoff chat" & "basic html" are.

HA!! Found it. Whilst I was writing the previous post, I thought "What would happen if I clicked "basic html" at the bottom?" So I did & the standard line came on!! Excellent. Thank you Graham for getting my brain in gear!!

please can I ask how I can go back to basic html - my system is sometimes slow and the ads on standard take up too much room on my laptop and make it slower.

However, every time I click on the link to basic html as email starts up it doesn't work (or if you blink you miss it).

Is there a link somewhere else I can click on that doesn't rely on fast reflexes or its gone!

Basic HTML View

You can switch to using the basic HTML view for webmail by adding &ui=html&zy=s to the end of the URL you normally access our webmail with. For example:

https://mail.blueyonder.co.uk/mail/?AuthEventSource=SSO&ui=html&zy=s
https://mail.ntlworld.com/mail/?AuthEventSource=SSO&ui=html&zy=s
https://mail.virgin.net/mail/?AuthEventSource=SSO&ui=html&zy=s
https://mail.virginmedia.com/mail/?AuthEventSource=SSO&ui=html&zy=s

You can switch out of the basic HTML view by clicking on "standard" at the bottom of the page.

when i click standard it goes to my loading page and freezes , is there anything else i need to do to get it back to standard

You could try deleting temporary Internet files and restarting your browser.
