Receiving emails for someone else

I am receiving someone else's emails. The person has the same initial as me and same surname. How do I go about reporting this?

Re: Receiving emails for someone else

If you are sure it is a misaddressed email and not some nefarious activity  then you could email the sender to let them know. Another option would be to reject future emails from the sender with a message. Steps to do this are as follow:

  1. Sign in to webmail
  2. Click ⁩⚙ and then Settings
  3. Click E-mail Filter Rules
  4. Click Add new rule and create a rule similar to that shown below with sender@example.org, me@virginmedia.com, and Misaddressed replaced with appropriate values
