Cannot send emails

I can receive emails on both my ntlworld and virginmedia email accounts, but I cannot send on either, with the emails being held in the outbox.

I've had this problem for months now, having put up with it and worked around it because Virgin phone help did not know how to resolve this after numerous LENGTHY phone calls!!! I need to know what my settings are supposed to be for incoming and outgoing so I can reset them?

Not rocket science you would think, but still Virgin cannot advise this over the phone.

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP???

I've been moving thse posts and they have ended up in reverse order - sory. They were in the wrong part of the Forum. also the link above may not work (been reported) Try this one if so:

I can see that HowardML has posted up a link to the settings you requested. How are things looking for you now?
