Problems with emails bouncing and arriving late

Problems with emails being bounced back to senders who resend and emails also arriving hours or days late. Running a small business this is a real problem and having a bad effect on the business missing key emails. The problem is definitely connected to Virgin as the problems occurs with a range of different contacts. If I changed over to Virgin Business would these problems go away or will they remain the same.

Has anyone any experience of changing to Virgin Business

Would like to hear any feedback

Re: Problems with emails bouncing and arriving late

Hello lorraine3,

I read in this recent thread

http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Email/Email-account-on-VM-Business/td-p/3205763

that you cannot port a Virgin Media email address to the business service,

"So Virgin Media Business are not set up to run the residential email service, and there is no option to transfer an existing email address across."

You are correct that there are significant problems since August 2015 with legitimate email that is not being delivered at all

http://wardinewrock.blogspot.com/2016/05/legitimate-emails-blocked-to-virgin.html

as well as legitimate messages which are delayed currently for hours or days.  The email team is battling spam and appear to have missed some of the finer points of how to do that without blocking or delaying legitimate email.  Since there has been no particular sign over many months that Virgin Media is learning how to get it right, my advice would be to move to a Gmail account.  You'll resolve these problems right away and will gain other useful features not present in a Virgin Media email account.

Re: Problems with emails bouncing and arriving late

I have to ask who do you currently use to send your business emails?
