Problems sending emails to btinternet.com addresses?

Is anyone finding problems over the last few days in sending emails from (say) blueyonder.co.uk to btinternet.com addresses?

I'm getting "mail delivery failed - retry timeout exceeded" on at least two btinternet.com addresses.

Please use plain text.

BT Internet addresses use the Yahoo platform, which are temporarily blocking some Blueyonder mail servers.

For the moment, change your SMTP server to smtp.virginmedia.com, this should do the trick, or post directly from webmail.

I'm getting exactly the same problem sending from a blueyonder account to a btinternet account. I have been sending to the same account ok for years. Now a problem! Sent a test from my gmail account and that went ok!

Try the server setting above, I think it should work.

Thanks for that. Send and receive to/from 3 different btinternet/yahoo addresses now works.
