Primary and secondary email address with different domain names

The transfer to VirginMedia went smoothly for me until I required to create another email account. The new secondary account is in the @virginmedia.com domain my main account is in the @ntlworls.com domain.

I can access the new account through Virgin webmail but I prefer to use Outlook Explorer 6.

Can anybody confirm which server my secondary account is on is it; @virginmedia.com as the address would indicate or is it @ntlworls.com as the principle account and what port setting I should use.

I have tried both and all the permutations I could come up with, all with similar results.

Hello JD2,

If you want to use your new @virginmedia.com alias in Outlook Express you will need to use the virginmedia.com incoming and outgoing email servers. Your @ntlworld.com aliases should continue to work using the ntlworld.com servers although you will need to make a few changes in relation to the ports that the servers use.
