Flag for a moderator

No emails

Changed from EE to Virgin. Now I can receive EE emails but can't send them. Why is this?

You need to modify your outgoing settings.

  • outgoing SMTP port number: 587
  • use secure connection (Secure Sockets Layer or SSL): no
  • my server requires authentication: yes
  • authentication: password
  • username: use the same as your incoming mail settings or manually enter (e.g. yourname.orangehome.co.uk - see username section above
  • password: see password section above

BTW - Be aware that if you have one of the old orange email addresses, that they are being discontinued as of May
