I have set up an email account for an Ntlworld address on an iPhone 4s using IOS9 (the latest it supports).
It receives emails OK, but cannot send any. I have variously tried using SMTP.ntlworld.com and SMTP.virginmedia.com as outgoing server settings (both using SSL and server port 993), but any attempt to send an email results in the following error message:
Cannot Send Mail The username or password for "SMTP:email@example.com@smtp.ntlworld.com" is incorrect.
Oddly, the message always mentions smtp.ntlworld.com as above even when all server settings are entered as virginmedia.com.
