NTL email log in

Hi. Since the Windows 10 update I'm having difficulty accessing my ntlworld email from a computer, tablet or iPhone is fine.  Virgin media's predecessor NTL is who I set up with and I cant access ntl email from the Virgin homepage.  Any advice please?

Welcome to the forums, I'm sorry to see you have been having trouble accessing your emails. 

 

Are you using a client on your computer with Windows 10?

 

If so double check the settings are correct as found here. 

 

Are you able to access the emails from webmail ok from that computer?

And try the fix in this thread on your computer. Win 10 update may have broken the mail client files on your PC.

There is no risk from running the "sfc/scan now" command.

IMAP has been tempremental downloading messages to Desktops, suggest using POP3 as a workaround if you need your emails in a hurry.

Just to clarify, the command is "sfc /scannow" and you run from a "command prompt (admin)" which you can reach by right click on the W10 Start button.
