Re: Mail sent to virginmedia.com domains treated as spam

Like being spammed - do you? Like your friends being spammed - do you, do they? Then carry on posting full e-mail addreses on this public forum which like all similar forums is crawled by individuals intent on garnering valid addresses and by spam bots which do it automatically. Edit your post please. I have also altered the Mods. If you had read the guidance on how to post you would have avoided this.

Edit - I see the Mods got there first. The rebuke still stands.

As for your issue the Forum Team will be along in a few days (up to a week at the moment) and will advise.

Re: Mail sent to virginmedia.com domains treated as spam

Looking at the server that was attempting to send your mail - 81.104.62.42.  Normally mail only passes through those servers under certain circumstances.

WHat are your current outgoing settings?

When this mail was sent, was it sent from your home connection, or from a different network (including mobile networks).

Sending email from home pc through Virgin modem.

I haven't a clue what 81.104.62.42. means!

Re: Mail sent to virginmedia.com domains treated as spam

Hi davidshukman,

Welcome to the forums, I'm sorry to see you have been having trouble with your emails.

Please pop me the header of the failed sent email, which should be included as an attachment in the failed delivery notification/ bounce back message. If you pop it across to me via PM (Purple Envelope, top right hand corner) then it will help to keep any details private.

Speak to you soon.

Emma
