Java script??

I have been trying to sign in to virgin email .I get the red box and although I can enter my password and username , it wont let me sign in.

There is a yellow message saying

JavaScript is disabled in your browser.
Please enable JavaScript, then close all browser windows and sign in again.
Find out how to enable JavaScript.

when I click link it goes to virgin page and message

Oh, crikey. We can't find that page

Maybe the link you clicked is broken or you typed in the wrong address. Perhaps the page doesn't exist any more. Or maybe it's just a glitch in the matrix.

help please.

Re: Java script??

Use your favoured search engine and search for “enable javascript” plus the name of your web browser, for example enable javascript firefox. By the way, there should be no need to install anything as JavaScript is build into modern browsers. Should you require more specific help then post back here with the name of your browser.

Re: Java script??

The obvious thing to do is - use a different browser - as there is obviously something wrong with the one you are currently using - so uninstall it and download the latest version.

This website automatically checks the state of javascript in your browser -

Re: Java script??

Should you wish to look at returning to using Chrome as your browser then check the Managed exceptions… for JavaScript, read more here Chrome then Adjust website content settings; it is possible to have JavaScript enabled but exceptions defined to block specific locations.

Re: Java script??

If you are not seeing (1) as shown in the following image then I am stumped as to why JavaScript will not work and can only suggest trying  to Reset Chrome settings to default

Re: Java script??

Glad the gremlins have left but alas I doubt the same can be true of  reCAPTCHA.
