I am being swamped by returned email not sent by me despite pw change
I was previously swamped with emails supposedly from me and largely returned as not deliverable. sought help from Virgin who advised password change and seemed initially to work but now the problem has returned. Can this not be blocked at Virgin Media level?

Do these symptoms match your problem?
1) You receive dozens of email messages about messages which fail to be delivered. These are for email messages you did not send.
2) If you open some of these messages about email which could not be delivered, and look for the addresses to which the emails were sent, do you find email addresses you know, such as those for friends, family, colleagues and companies with which you have done business?
