I'm thinking of leaving Virgin for cost reasons. I'm paying for a speed of 70mps but getting nowhere near that so may as well switch to a cheaper alternative. The only thing that's putting me off switching is the fact that I use a Virgin email address and have done for years, so there would be a lot of hassle changing that.
I assume the email address would become invalid as soon as I left but wondered how easy it was to arrange redirection and how long that would continue.
you can access the email for upto 90 days but you will lose it at some point.
You should never use ISP email for this reason. use something free and not linked to an ISP like gmail or outlook. Or register your own domain name and forward email from that to somewhere so you can just update the forwarding if you ever need to move email
