I received a text from virgin to say someone had accessed my e mail account so to sign in and change password as they had blocked the account I did try this and it does not accept my e mail address which is the right one I've had it for years so I tried to change username but couldn't as it was asking for an account number which I don't have as we moved and no virgin in this area I called virgin no joy used the advisor online told me to call sorry to drone on I'm at a loss what to do.The only thing I can think of is when they closed my virgin media account something has happened to my e mail any advice please
Yes - something probably has happened. When you leave VM your e-mail address is closed and deleted 90 days later. To check all this you'll have to call in on 0345 454 1111 (Brandon faults - deals with e-mail).
