Well this is my fifth day of waiting and so far my e-mail account has not been activated.
Found a g-mail account that they must have been activated for me last year with a completely differenf e-mail address.
All I want is my proper e-mail address back that I have been using for the last 7 years.

Well phoned them up again as I am now on my 6th day and was told they don't work weekends so it does not count and I now have to wait till the 9th to get it fixed.
Beginning to feel like they are just fobbing me off.Only time will tell.

Phoned up again and have to wait another 2 days but they can't say for certain that it will be fixed by then.
Spoke to Gordon on the phone and when he had done all he could to help he put me through to Jenny.
Jenny said it should be fixed within the next 2 days but could not guarantee it.
But have to compliment them on there customer skills which was 1st class.

I have just checked and the problem iseems to be resolved. The mailbox is now showing as active on your account. Please would you confirm that it is working for you? Apologies for the delay as we normally deal with these much quicker but one of our servers had a problem.

Nope it is still not working .
I still have it set at 25 and 110.And still Ntlworld.com .Should those be changed .
I must admit I have changed everything so many times I have lost count trying to get it to work.I have reset it back to the old settings for Ntlworld.com but still no go.
I have tried the changed Password and still no difference.
The connection to the server has failed.

Mailbox is showing open on e-mail account.
It all depends which one you mean.Someone from NTL gave me a new e-mail address last year or the year before for some reason that has not been used.
I just found it recently by looking through my book where I usually keep things that I may need.
The one that has been removed is the one that I use every day.I t is not the weird one it is the one starting with my proper name and original e-mail address that I had when I started using Ntlworld about 7 years ago that I need.,

Still got the password problem and they changed it a few days ago.Will have to phone them in case they have changed it again.
I know what they changed it to but it does not work.
It is at least sending messages now but not receiving.

Ok new password worked so everything back to normal.
lets hope it syays that way.And thanks for your help and advice.
