Cant send email

Can receive on IMAP, cant send on SMTP.

Verified all settings with non British call centre who insisted on taking control and doing it themselves.

Got passed to tech support in Swansea but they hung up on me....

2016.10.26 14:57:39 SMTP (smtp.blueyonder.co.uk): <rx> 525 Authentication Denied (VM304)

Tried changing password both through website and through customer service, still doesnt work.

Email has been used constantly and never been dormant.

Need someone to look into this since no one on the phone can understand what's happening and other users seem to have the same problem.

Looks so familiar - would you like to pick up and ask for more details to investigate?

I have referred this to the two Forum Team members who are most familiar with the VM304 error code.

In the meantime please describe in detail (list all of them) what SMTP settings you are using in what client. Also can you send in web mail? Crucial information.

smtp.blueyonder.co.uk, Port 465, SSL, Requires Authetication (Yes) in Outlook 2016

Same setting for Android emails.

Can send emails through the web client with no fuss and have confirmed receipt at the other end.
