i know virgin are trying to get rid of this-or not make it easy to access my emails anymore BUT by going via help/support then difficulty signing in-then down to the bottom and signing in via the ntlworld.com link i could still get in to read my emails-i was on it lastnight!
But this morning both my name or password and my partners now come up with error message (in yellow) saying incorrect username/password?? how can this be possible, ive used it for years and was on it lastnight.
any ideas how i can get onto it-all my work emails go to that address?
i was never told that it was all being changed to virginmedia.email address- only read other peoples notes on it-so how can i change it all over so everyone emailing me will be sent to my new/must use email address?
im not happy this really winds me up! Frustrating.

ok-i gave in and rang virgin-after being passed to 4 depts-turns out when we moved house we should have had our email address brought over-but because we made new virgin media address-if we want our ntlworld ones brought to this new account they will replace our virgin ones.
what i cant understand is why was i able to access my ntlworld emails for all this time-fri night ok, sat morning i couldnt. and yet we can get onto out ntlworld.com emails only on my other halfs mobile-yet on anyone elses computers we cant??? is there a reason for this. ?
im really upset that ive used my nhtlworld address for years and now suddenly i cant and i have to choose which address to keep! how can they suddenly shut me out of my own account with all my important info in it??

Looks like they deleted them by mistake,Quite a few on here with the same problem.I have used mine for 7 years and they have deleted it.
I think they want you to sign up for G -mail and quite a few complaints about that as well.
Hope you are not in a hurry to get it fixed as they dont seem to be in a hurry to fix it.
You did the right thing phoning did they give you a time when it is likely to be fixed.

no-they left it as they would ring back if they could or i could ring them when i decide which address i want to keep-if i want ntlworld.com they will replace our virgin address which we use aswell!!
the strange thing is that we can get onto them via a mobile but not any other computer?? How is that possible?
also strangley at first they couldnt find our ntlworld emails - overnight they had dissapeared! when i started getting understandably annoyed he suddenly found them!!

I have had mine cut off for 9 days now and just phoned them againI have been told withing the next 2 days and I should have it back on.Looks like they are up to there eyeballs with complaints and are waiting for their IT team to get it sorted.
They can't give you any help on the forum it is just a matter of phoning them.Hopefully they would have given you a date as to when you may be able to use it again.
Not sure if it is a Google problem or notAs long as they sort it.

Hi all,
If you call our technical support on 151 or 0845 454 1111, our agents will be more than happy to help you with your issue, depending on the issue will depend what we need to do, in most occasions we need to sent it to our I.T. department, who can then resolve everything form the server side.
Unfortunately this is not something I can do from the community forums due to DPA restrictions.
