I've got an HTC mobile phone and I've used it for a long time to send and recieve email, via my virginmedia email account.
I can still successfully send email from my phone, but since 30th June, I'm not receiving email on my phone any more...
My incoming email server is set to pop3.virginmedia.com...
Has this changed recently?

Hi senna_fan and bellajules,
Sorry your having problems with your emails. I have checked the POP3 access on all of your email accounts and they seem to be working okay here. Do you have POP3 access setup on any other devices such as a PC? If you do and they are not setup using recent mode they will grab the emails before your phone. It is possible to log into Webmail and check last access from a link in the bottom right, see if any other devices using POP3 access? Here are the details to confirm your settings. Please let us know how it goes?

thanks for replying. No I don't use any email client s/w, such as Outlook Express etc. - I only use Webmail.
I haven't changed any settings on my phone. On 1st July it just stopped receiving new emails.
I deleted all the connection details on my phone, set it up again and told it to download all emails for the last month.
Again, it downloaded all emails from the last month... up until 30th June. It won't download emails more recent than that. Very strange.
I don't have any other devices grabbing the emails via POP3. When I login via an IE browser, all emails from July are there in my inbox...

Sorry to hear your still having the same issue.
Within webmail there is a setting which will be worth changing to see if this makes a difference, please follow the instructions below.
Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP > Enable pop download even for mail which is already downloaded > Apply changes.
This should download all mail from webmail onto your device, Alternatively if you don't want that if you have thousands in your mailbox on the same page there is a option to enable pop download for mail received from now on.
Let us know how you get on.

brilliant, thank you - that worked! I can't say that it makes any sense to me, because as I said, yesterday I deleted all the email account details from my phone and set it up again. It then proceeded to download all the messages that I'd previously downloaded, up to and including 30th June. So I must have already been able to re-download messages that I'd previously downloaded?
Anyway, it's working now, so I thank you for your help with this!
