Can I use a Virgin SMTP host to relay my 'home' domain mail?

I need a recognised SMTP as Spamhaus has blocked the DHCP'd domain that my Virgin home network is on.

Re: Can I use a Virgin SMTP host to relay my 'home' domain mail?

Hi daveedmo,

Welcome to the forums, I'm sorry to see you have been having trouble with emails.

I have taken a look at this for you and your IP address range has been identified by Spamhaus as not meeting their policy for IP addresses permitted to deliver unauthenticated 'direct-to-mx' email to PBL users.

They don't block specific domains.

Are you using a client mail? If so are the email setting set up correctly?

I will pop you a PM with a link to the information I have found. I cannot pop it here as it contains information about your IP address. Keep an eye out for the purple envelope, top right hand corner.

Speak to you soon.

Emma
