Blueyonder webspace

Hoping someone can help! I had a site on the blueyonder webspace (sitename.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk) on my parents' Virgin account, which is still active. As such I didn't get any warning that these were being shut down.

Is there any way to get the content back at least?

Thanks in advance,

Roddy

Re: Blueyonder webspace

Unlikely unless you kept a back-up or it's been archived by one of the many web sites that do this. The content was deleted by VM in June (or thereabouts)

I do not work for VM. The advice I give is based on my best understanding of VM policy and practice. You rely on it at your own risk.

Hello Roddy

Welcome to our forum, I am sorry you have lost your site content but I am afraid Howard is correct we have deleted the old site data. There are some websites that archive old sites on the web eg https://archive.org/web/ but not sure whether they would have yours.

Thank you

Re: Blueyonder webspace

Thanks Howard - I have my own backup but it's a considerably older version of the site than was live at time of shutdown. I was hoping there would still be a way of getting it back, even if just as a zip of all the files or similar.

Cheers,

Roddy

Re: Blueyonder webspace

Hi Nicola,

The link was pretty helpful - There was an archived version from January 2016 which has most of it!

Thanks,

Roddy
