Access To Virgin Media Email

I can't access Virgin Media Email with my newly setup email account as at 20:15 on 19 February 2017.  I get the following message:

Sorry we're experiencing technical difficulties

Sorry for any inconvenience, but our website is temporarily out of action.

Our engineers are now working to rectify the problem as quickly as possible. Please check back with us in a while.

Does anyone know when the service is likely to resume?

The service is not showing any abnormality for me. Neither was national or fault showing when I last checked "service status".

This error is quite common and much more likely to be related to the somewhat fragile nature of the web mail service on some browsers.

I suggest the following steps:

1. Log in as normal. If you get this error than use the browser "back" button to reload the site. If that doesn't work try CtrlF5 to refresh the load.

2. Clear your browser's cache and cookies and re-try

3. Try another browser.
