The service is not showing any abnormality for me. Neither was national or fault showing when I last checked "service status".
This error is quite common and much more likely to be related to the somewhat fragile nature of the web mail service on some browsers.
I suggest the following steps:
1. Log in as normal. If you get this error than use the browser "back" button to reload the site. If that doesn't work try CtrlF5 to refresh the load.
2. Clear your browser's cache and cookies and re-try
3. Try another browser.
