Its not just Black Ops, its just about every game that you try to play online. Need for Speed - Hot pursuit is just about unplayable. at 10:25 am today, I waited 27 minutes to connect to an online game, halfway through a race, kicked out.
Didn't have this problem with 20m. its funny how when you phone customer support, they don't know of any issues with their equipment & refuse to switch you back to your old modem.

21/04/11 Mark Wilkin post.
"What we're going to do now is widen our investigation and see what else could be causing this. One other thing we've seen is that on other forums, including the main Call of Duty forums, there is a lot of noise currently about Xbox Live problems on many different networks and ISPs so we'll be taking at look at that as well."
Have you taken a look? We're pretty sure it's your traffic management system and we think you are too.
"We still need your feedback about this issue as the more reports we get give us more to work from, so we are still actively monitoring this thread on a day to day basis."
Last night on my connection I had the usual problems, disconnecting, spinning logo when people join, everyone getting booted from my lobby, slow dashboard, slow login all up until 12 midnight then sometime after 12 midnight I finally got some enjoyable games in.
"I'll post another update on this next week when I have more news."
Surely there must be more news on this subject as it's extremely frustrating when you have a product that clearly doesn't work properly spoiling your "FUN TIME".

This kind of problem should have been rectified Long ago as its beginning to become a bit of a joke. I know that they had 5 Testers to test updates etc and check their findings and you told them and the forum that the P2P Traffic Management was Turned Off they then reported to you that the issues had gone and all was back as it used to be and should be, however in the post that followed their findings VM said that all issues had not been resolved yet the testers have informed them it was back to normal as with Xbox Live you do get connections dropping now and again but not to the Magnitude that the New P2P Traffic Management has caused. Im paying £40 a month for 50MB a service im not receiving as this was bought for Xbox Live and Pc Gaming which Also has been Affected. The P2P Traffic Management problems are not just limited to Call Of Duty Black Ops it is affecting the Whole Of Xbox Live, Pc Gaming, PS3 Gaming, Video Streaming (Youtube, BBC Iplayer etc) so theoretically im left with a 50MB connection that can just about surf the internet and be used for checking emails. Other users have posted the same thing even in the 50MB forum and there cries have also gone unanswered! as well as other users from VM's 10MB,20MB,30MB,100MB services reporting the same problems across the whole board from Xbox Live to PC Gaming, PS3 Gaming and not just one game but all games on those systems. I have joined other users of the Forum and sent a Complaint both about the service we are recieving or Not Recieving should i say but also about the shambles of this Forum because numerous posts on the forum especially in that topic are being deleted not because they were conflicting with any rules but simply to "Hush" them up so to speak. As it stands my Subscription to Xbox Live has only Recently been Renewed and Microsoft cannot reimburse my subscription fee because of it being an ISP Provider Problem so as Virgin Media is my ISP i wish to be both reimbursed for my connection fee at least half of it and my Xbox Live Subscription Partially reimbursed also, aswell as someone informing us with an update on this issue. I have Evidence that my service is not supposed to be limited in anyway what so ever and i have that screenshot taken on my pc from Virgins Own Site with a time and date aswell as my name and virgin account number yet this Traffic Management exists on my connection so why is this? I also have evidence of VM's site which quotes "The way that our customers use their broadband is changing all the time, so in the future we will adapt the policy in order to continue to provide the best service possible for all customers. Don't worry though, we'll always let you know on our website if we're going to make any changes, and its not going to change very often" I was not informed in anyway shape or form that this had gone into effect, i was not contacted in anyway via email, post, telephone or even on the Websites Broadband Home Page or any linked to it at all. I would like to have an update on this issue and any information regarding it. I have copied & pasted this into an email as well as adding a screen shot with the time and date posted and forwarded to the CEO aswell as BBC's Watchdog and OfCom.

oh and VM just to let you know as soon as it hits next tuesday 3rd may expect the Brown S to hit the fan because call of dutys dlc is out then and users will take about a lifetime to actually download it after paying £12 then once that lifetimes over and they find they cant play because of this shoddily implemented P2P Traffic Management oh dear your phones are gonna ring no end and im suspecting abuse will be hurdled, you've really brought this upon yourself to be honest for messing with something that was once near perfect and letting monkeys loose on your server

We've been continuing to investigate the problems you've been having
hosting Call of Duty: Black Ops games on the XBox and thanks to your
feedback we believe we've made some progress. As a result we've made
some changes to our cable network's configuration today and we'd like to
know if you see any improvement over the next few days. If you could
post your feedback in the new thread I've started on this topic I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
