Warning of service interrruption

Hi,

Does anyone know if Virgin should give email or text warning of scheduled service interruption of broadband and TV? This has happened twice now in the BD16 area in one week from 9am to 3pm on both occasions, both Tuesdays. Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Warning of service interrruption

They normally send a letter (or they did in my case) saying the broadband/TV will be down for a period unless of course it's non scheduled emergency work

Re: Warning of service interrruption

Thanks dannylau. Speaking to the helpline I couldn't get any body to confirm whether this was standard practice. I've never had any warning.

Re: Warning of service interrruption

The only warning I've ever had was a printed note through the door saying that the street cabinet was being upgraded and our service should be back by 6pm ... and it was although they had managed to disconnect our landline in the process ... at least they came back the next day to fix it.
