It's meant to be funny! I find it hilarious, especially this bit:

Mouse is gnawin’ at the pantry door
He’s been at it now for a month or more
When he gets through he’ll sure be sore
Cause there ain’t a dang thing in there.

Re: Music... What is your favorite?

This is my first attempt at posting a YouTube video from a mobile phone, hope it works.

The BossHoss - Hey Ya

This life hesitates to be enjoyed
Not the slightest prospect of change
Vicious circle
That I'd thought to have escaped
A lasting state of worry prolongs

Re: Music... What is your favorite?

Marlene Dietrich

Born in Berlin 1901

Died in Paris 1992

‘Ich hab’ noch einen Koffer in Berlin.’

‘I’ve left a suitcase in Berlin.’

To those who don’t understand what Marlene is singing, the gist of it is that she has a suitcase she once left in Berlin. And sometime soon she’ll have to visit that city again because the memories of the good times of her life are stored in this suitcase. There then follows a sequence of photos showing her with the famous people she once rubbed shoulders with – a document of our time.

Enjoy!

A reminder of happy holidays spent on the sunny shores of Italy - a long, long time ago.
