What NHS cyber attack? Do you mean idiots installing ransomware on their workstations that then spread by insecure networks?

Lets not get all Daily Mail on it. Smiley Very Happy

It sounds so much more Bourne when you say "cyber attack" though.

AS a fervent tin foil hat wearer, I suspect we will get some more limitations/eavesdropping on our connections as a result of this. Makes better reading that we have to "prevent attacks on the NHS"   and we all need to let GCHQ have even more access/ban encryption/cut the entire UK off from the WWW (delete as applicable) because ,you know, hacksorz.

They should have deleted system32. That would have stopped it in its tracks...

Re: I'm Back!

Over-utilisation has been eliminated.
Everyone has been given free V6 boxes to replace slow Tivos.
Everyone has been given a Hub4 with no latency or packet loss and a strong wifi signal.
Catch up and on demand works perfectly throughout the country.
The call centres answer within 2 minutes and give useful knowledgeable help.

Pigs have been taught to fly.

Pigs have been taught to fly.

In order to ensure "no latency" I assume the speed of light has also been repealed as well as any physics in the architecture of processors governing latency and packet loss. i.e. we now have infinite pipes and infinite bandwidth, as packet loss used to occur when the pipe gets full, you need infinite bandwidth to ensure no packet loss. No latency means everything is working at infinite speed. Smiley Happy

I believe out of that list that teaching pigs to fly would be the easiest to achieve. Smiley Tongue
