Green spray painted cross: who to call for info?

Pretty much as per the title. In the last couple of days a green spray painted cross has appeared on my driveway. No VM letters, no other markings, just a cross. A Google search throws up 2 possibilities - VM or I'm being targeted for a break in. Green is usually cable companies I admit but is there a particular department at 150 I should try to get through to to ask if there's anything planned?

Quicker checking your local street works register rather than 150 where you will get complete indifference. 1st line support wont know how to contact construction teams.

Just weird that it's ONLY in front of our house. I'll try checking the register, if I can find it.

Tee installations dont usually take the form of a cross. Its usually a T in a box, with an arrow showing which way the tee has to enter the street duct.

Well, whoever it belongs to I've burned it off. IF it's VM (or any utility really) and they come looking for it, well tough. They should have stuck a note through saying they were planning some work Smiley Happy

Lets hope then it did not indicate a major gas leak then. Smiley LOL

(although if you burnt it off I'm guessing you know its not already!)

Re: Green spray painted cross: who to call for info?

I'd already looked and green was coming back as usually CCTV or cable communications. Also, being on my drive and it's been there 4 days hints it can't have been that big a gas leak Smiley Happy

As for colour blind.....VM corporate colours ARE mostly green yeah?
