Connection cost

We have Virgin contractors laying fibre optic cable in our street RG24 8YQ. Because we are a shared drive of 4 houses they will not dig up our drive without the agreement from all 4 householders. My 3 neighbours all want Virgin but I don't as I'm recently into an 18 month contract with SSE. However I may want Virgin in the future. My neighbours assure me that, as the contractors are still working in our street, we can have cable run to each house without charge. In my case it would be just the conduit. Please can Virgin confirm this is the case. Thanks

Re: Connection cost

The ducting (or fibre carrier in some areas) will terminate at your boundary. Nothing will be installed up to you house unless you become a customer.

Re: Connection cost

Thank you. I guess you can't speak for Virgin but do you know if that carries a cost?

Re: Connection cost

There is no cable installion cost, look at the web site for installation costs.
