speed test

I just done a speed test and it said ping was 134. Can any body tell me what this means as i suffer from slow speeds and want to know is this any thing to do with it

your best bet is to ring virgin and go thru to tech support and raise a fault, theres countless people on ere suffering due to high pings unable to play games properly, pings/lagg/latency just means stuttering in games, the higher it is the worse it gets playing games,

Took about ten attempts to actually get onto the speed test site. It shows my ping is around 430!!!
Bunch of crooks.

Fcpmckenzie and the other users in this thread, could you try reseting your router (turn it off for 60 seconds) and then posting any feedback about the quality of your connection to this thread
As we've made some improvements to our network that may help with latency and ping rates, but you'll need to reset your router to get switched over to them.
